Butterfly Conservation Scotland
Join Butterfly Conservation for a walk out onto the bog and a talk about the importance of peatlands and then help us do some practical conservation work to remove birch saplings from the bog. This will help to re-wet the bog and will benefit the Endangered Large Heath Butterfly, which is the UK’s only specialist butterfly to live on bogs.
